The results of the second day of the Russian Swimming Championship were announced
Kliment Kolesnikov won the Russian championship in the 100 meters backstroke.
He showed the result 53.03 seconds. The silver was won by Nikolai Zuev (53.19). Evgeny Rylov closed the first trio (53.20).
In the distance of 200 m freestyle, Martin Malyutin became the best with the result 1 minute 46.44 seconds. Then came Ivan Girev (1: 47.03) and Mikhail Dovgalyuk (1: 47.32).
In the women’s 200m butterfly, Svetlana Chimrova won (2: 08.80), Anastasia Markova was second (2: 13.43), and Daria Lunina was third (2: 13.67).
Elena Bogomolova won the gold medal in the 50 meters breaststroke with a result of 30.40 seconds. Silver went to Nika Godun (30.69), Yulia Beznosova (31.50) closed the first three.
Kirill Prigoda (59.51) dominated the men’s 100m breaststroke, ahead of Anton Chupkov (59.54) and Danil Semyaninov (59.64).
Maria Kameneva won in the women’s 100m backstroke (59.43). The silver was won by Daria Ustinova (1: 00.74). Bronze – Elizaveta Agapitova (1.00.76).
Ilya Borodin was the best in the 200m individual medley (1: 59.02), beating Maxim Stupin (1: 59.45) and Alexei Sudarev (2: 01.08).
In the mixed relay, the team from St. Petersburg (Alexei Tkachev, Prigoda, Chimrova, Ustinova) won with a result of 3 minutes and 46.29 seconds. Second was the team from the Novosibirsk region (3: 48.38). The Muscovites closed the first trio (3: 50.03).
The Russian Swimming Championship takes place in Kazan from April 24 to 29.
