Our hair says a lot about our personality and reflects our health, so we should take extra care in the shower, but when we wash our hair, it can sometimes become dry, rough and dry. Although hair loss scares us, did you know that it is normal to lose 50-100 hairs every day?
For most people, hair loss occurs when they shampoo or brush their hair. When you need to see a dermatologist, understand the difference between normal hair loss and some quick remedies and tips to fix it.
In an interview with HT Lifestyle magazine, Dr. Arshi Rahul, founder of The Daily Aesthetics magazine, laser specialist and trichologist, said, “It is necessary to use a light, sulfate-free shampoo that does not dry out the hair and scalp. Applying conditioner to the roots/lengths of the hair plays an important role in opening the pores of the hair roots. It improves the look and feel of the hair and makes combing easier. It helps in addition to harmful UV rays.”
Talking about how to prevent hair loss after shampooing, he said, “The best way to prevent hair loss while shampooing is to wash your hair regularly. Be careful not to massage the shampoo directly into your scalp, but lather the required amount of shampoo into your palms and then apply it gently without applying too much pressure to your scalp. Always use cold or lukewarm water when washing your hair. “Don’t point your hair down when you wash it, because it will tangle and break.”
